Featured Content Creators

This space is for the Youtube content creators that I think are the ones that every new person to the hobby should watch and learn from.  I did!!  The reasons why I chose to feature these people is because they have videos that are for beginners and they break things down in a way that alot of other channels don't.  They even have playlists just for the people just starting out in the world of terrain crafting.

Black Magic Craft

This was the first channel I found about the hobby.  He has tons more videos on his channel, but these are the ones that I thought are the essentials and that could be used and modified for a Zombie Apocalypse setting, as well as his great introduction to both Terrain and Miniture crafting and painting playlists!  Click the first link and check out his channel and get inspired!

Wyloch's Armory

Another one of my favorite channels.  From Dungeons and Dragons to Warhammer to Poorhammer... this guy has you covered!  He has his own beginners series, but Ive already posted a great playlist in the above links, so I will just post a few of Wyloch's other videos below that I think would work for a Zombie Apocalypse world with some tweeking, or just for inspiration.  And he makes the best Cardstock miniatures on the internet!  And if your looking for your own Dungeon Master's screen....

Eric's Hobby Workshop

Eric has made one of the best gaming tables for Necromunda I have seen on Youtube.  I was going to post a bunch of his how to videos, but theres so many you can use as inpiration that I figured I would only post the link to his channel so you can go through his videos for yourself and post the one video that showcases all the modular terrain peices what would fit in with a futuristic Zombie Apocalypse.

Geek Gaming Scenics

How do guys!  Here we have the best place on the web if you want to make realistic and durable wargaming tables!  NOTE: He also has a store where he sell's cheaper alternatives to hobby materials than brand name stuff and are just as good!  He also has tons of videos on how to create your own washes and the like! Heres a couple samples of his work that I think are very useful to making  a zombie apocalypse gaming board.

Squidmar Miniatures

One of the best miniature painters on Youtube.... in my opinion! There are others of course be we aren't talking about them hah!  He mainly does fantasy and Warhammer videos but this one on how to treat your brushes is a must watch.   As well, this video he posted about crafting a fantasy town is literally just taking papercraft buildings and upgrading them.  Why can't it be use is to spruce up your modern zombie setting??

RFDHobby

What can I say about this channel?  Its probably the best channel on the internet for making a Zombie Apocalypse city.  I was trying to figure out which videos of his to showcase here and post links to but I just cant decide.   Go watch them all.

Well here is an update I do not want to be making.  Tragedy has befallen my friend Shawn, his house has burned down and he and his family have lost everything this 3rd week of November 2022.   I know things are tough for everyone but If anyone has a few dollars extra,  instead of buy that bottle of soda and chocolate bar, condidering donating to help my friend and his family get back on their feet and under a new roof.  The link to his PayPal will be below. 

Videos to Create the Apocalypse

Here are videos I have found on Youtube that can be useful to crafting your own Apocalyptic world.  Although they have many videos you should check out, I am only going to post their videos that are specificly useful to this game.

Franky D. Crafter

Franky has a huge catalogue of exceptional Dungeons & Dragons terrain, go watch them all.  But this video is the best way to make trees I have seen on the web besides from buying them.  Not every apocalypse is void of greenery!

If you are making terrain in the smaller Wargamming scale which would be 20mm and smaller,  then this guy has a few rapid fire quick videos full of easy to make terrain markers and scatter.

Gaminggeek

On his channel he does alot of battle reports and reviews among other things.  A couple of those things were these two videos.  One is where I found the idea of making my own City tiles.  I copied his video verbatum except I left the files as is.  I didnt increase them to 8" by 8", I left them 7x7 inches.  They work just right for my needs.  The other video is what he did for the buildings.  Again check out all his videos!!

Highlen Terrain

Feardaalien

Micheal has put together some very short and sweet playlists.  One is for making Street terrain.  The other is for making a very cool sewer system.  Check out the rest of his videos afterwards!!!

Nugget's Dungeon Terrain

Nugget has gold mine of terrain from all types of genres.  Lucky for us... he has a Zombie Apocalypse playlist.  I would also recommend his Gaslands videos and his regular apocalypse videos... and then of course watch all of the other ones!

Alrethian's crafts & Battles

Here is a cool channel I have just recently discovered.  He has some cool videos and show you how to make some buildings really quickly and very simple but look very good!!  After that, you can watch is other Terrain Tutorials and battle reports :)
